We all have unconscious beliefs, developed in childhood, hidden in the shadows of our subconscious, that rule our operating system. We can get past these beliefs when we do the work to uncover and bring them to the forefront of our minds. Our beliefs are formed to keep us safe as children but at some time, they stop keeping us safe and keep us playing small.
Do you hold any of these beliefs?
I’m not good enough!
I need to stay small so no one will see me.
I’ll never fit in.
Life won’t bring me what I want.
This is not my time.
I need to control everything to stay safe.
That’s for others, not me.
I’m broken.
I’m unlovable.
I’ll never be successful.
My feelings aren’t important.
People can’t be trusted.
These are but a few of the disempowering beliefs that keep us sabotaging ourselves time and time again.
In today’s exercise, you will have the opportunity to do a shadow belief exploration. Once you uncover a hidden belief, you can choose a new empowering belief to replace the old outdated one.
