Be the Mother or Father of your Own Re-invention

This topic has been on my mind a lot lately. Might be because of the Walking Momtra™ book or an event I’m thinking about birthing soon in Amsterdam or Paris with my company Michelle Ghilotti Int’l that will discuss the topic in detail…

We are the Mothers and Fathers of our re-invention. We birth children but we can also, at anytime, birth the change we want or need in ourselves.

We have it in us to be the Mother of Fathers of what will make us not only better people but better parents.

We hold in us the power to increase our very own happiness and be more a part of the happiness of our children.

We’ve said it before here on the Parenting Series but we’ll say it again, when we are happy, we raise happiness. And when we decide that the very power that birthed our children can also birth the change or desires we want for ourselves, we move some pretty glorious mountains.

How? Well, the realization that everything we do for ourselves, we also do for our children is mighty powerful, don’t you think?

Everything we do for ourselves, they have the opportunity to learn from and emulate.

In giving to ourselves or, in other words, following the highest vision we hold for ourselves, we birth in them the idea that they are, not anyone else, in charge of their happiness. We teach them that happiness is inside us not outside.

Is that not what we want them to realize and stick with?

As the new year approaches think of ways you’ve been itching to re-ivent yourself  either professionally, personally, or in locale and don’t make a resolution, rather, create the action steps to make them a reality.

Your re-invention brings with it joy and your joy brings with it the joy of your family. And if you created life you can most definitely re-create yours.

how to be a Walking Momtra™/Dadtra: be the Mother or Father of your own re-invention…don’t follow, instead lead those dreams.

If you missed the last post on Saying Yes to Ourselves and your December Momtra/Dadtra, take a peek. We don’t have to be #2 in a long line of #1’s. Enjoy the article and enjoy yourself. It’s always time to gift yourself with time, self-love and continued, rich opportunity.
