Sun Enters Virgo… Time to get yourself organized, set up structures that support you!
Last week’s column was inspired by astrologer Anne Ortelee, and it seems this one will be too! (Thanks, Anne, you’re on a inspiring roll.)
So yesterday Anne wrote: “Sun enters Virgo for 30 fastidious days. Get yourself organized, set up structures that help promote your health and well being.”
And interestingly (or more likely it’s synchronicity), this is what I’m all about these days. These are exciting times for me at Happiness Series and in life. I’m feeling better than I’ve ever felt, and I think I’m looking better than ever before. Odd because I’m a year older this Saturday. Here I am in my 30’s feeling and looking better than in my 20’s, and it’s almost all related to diet and a daily meditation practice. The Ageless Diet™, to be exact. (Shameless plug for our lifestyle plan but… hey, the plan works.)
It’s really satisfying work to help others discover how good they too can feel, and, to paraphrase Anne, help them set up structures that promote their health and well-being. Life is a funny, wondrous thing because this week there have been days where I’ve been frustrated, annoyed, and maybe even a little blue (end of summer blues?), but then I get to work with people who actively want to change their lives and feel great, and it’s uplifting. We’re all so brave. We all work so hard, and we are all seeking. We are all so inspiring.
It’s kind of amazing how we keep on trucking, even when we feel less than, even when our bodies don’t work right, and our brains feel damaged. That’s how brave we are… we just keep going. And this is why I get so excited when someone comes to me wanting to try the Ageless Diet Lifestyle – the whole thing, the meditation, the exercise, the diet, the supplements, the sleep, all of it. Because this person has the gumption and courage and the energy, despite feeling bloated and lethargic and depressed, to change his life. That’s really cool. And that’s a great lesson for me. If our friends, our neighbors, co-workers, fellow commuters, and almost strangers can make changes in their lives, we can too. We are all in this together. And together we can improve the quality of our lives and the shape of the planet.
So with what Anne wrote in mind, “Sun enters Virgo for 30 fastidious days. Get yourself organized, set up structures that help promote your health and well being,” let’s make this happen. Let’s eat better, meditate daily, sleep more, walk more, say “I love you” more…
Let’s be the change we want to see, as Gandhi famously said.
