Your dream (man) can be a reality
I’ve given this a lot of thought, and I’ve come to the conclusion that my dream man is pretty specific. He’s 6’2, green-eyed, dark haired, British, beautiful and kind of muscular. He’s got long eyelashes. He might be a model (just saying). Now, thanks to a new website, your dream man can actually become a reality. Hallel-freakin-ujah!
iDreamofU allows users to build a dream date according to the features we’re most attracted to, and then they actually match you with someone who resembles your dream. Gah! I haven’t been this excited since I discovered cotton candy cupcakes.
After registering, potential daters fill out basic information about themselves…and then the games begin. You then choose clothes, facial features and accessories for your dream date…kind of like how you’d dress up Ken as a kid (if Ken was actually a real man instead of the kind who wore flesh-colored underwear in lieu of having actual anatomy, that is). Once your dream guy — or girl, should be a man/lesbian reading this — is complete, you then submit your creation’s photo and iDreamofU’s software matches the image with users who look like the person you’ve man-made. Don’t pardon the pun.
Did I forget to mention that I like my men to be funny, a big roguish, a teensy bit cocky with a huge dollop of romanticism tossed in? Just because I did doesn’t mean the site does the same…you’ll also be asked a slew of personality and relationship questions to customize your dream match.
In a press release, iDreamofYou founder Karen Howard said: ”IDOU is fun and entertaining in that you can create a person just for the experience or in the hopes of meeting the person you’ve built. That you can share the person you created with friends through social media is an added bonus.”
I am so totally on board with this that I’m going to sign up right now. Maybe my dream man won’t make me happy in the long run, but I’ll never know unless I actually try to find him, now will I? I, for one, am ready for my dream to become a reality. Aren’t you?
