Weekly Astrological Forecast August 8-14 2011
By Bob Mulligan
From August 8th to the 14th angry people and “harebrained” ideas seem to dominate the environment. The threat of violence hangs in the air. The way to peace and harmony is to be willing to try something new and to approach every situation completely unafraid.
8th – Monday – Mercury Retrogrades back into Leo, Mercury Opposes Neptune – This is a time when it is necessary to remain flexible in order to see where frustration and failure have their origin. Comprehensive understanding is necessary now.
9th – Tuesday – Mars Square Uranus – We may be too eager to find fault with other people’s approach to situations in our lives. We are all bound together and one person’s actions deeply affect our lives. Impulsive actions can be dangerous.
10th – Wednesday – Look for opportunity and remain cheerful. Be positive because it is our attitude that determines success or failure now.
11th – Thursday – Mars Opposite Pluto, Mercury Semi-square Saturn, Sun Sesquiquadrate Uranus – Violent behavior and aggressive actions mask deep insecurities. Careful self-analysis and quick actions bring us new information about long existing circumstances.
12th – Friday – Venus Sesquiquadrate Uranus – We tend to be wildly creative and spontaneous. Try something new and be open to exploring unique aspects of your relationships.
13th – Saturday – Sun Sesquiquadrate Pluto, Full Moon is at 2:58 PM EDT, Venus Sesquiquadrate Pluto – A certain amount of tension can be stimulating but we are now confronted with a need to change or perish. We must choose between disagreeable options and then be committed to the course we are on.
14th – Sunday – Passions cool off and we find comfort in our most nurturing relationships. There are several good ideas and there are lots of offers to come our way. Rest should be at the top of the list for things to accomplish now.
