Astrological Forecast

May 1-8

By Bob Mulligan

From the 1st to the 8th we find ourselves in a mad race to complete any number of different tasks.  We do ourselves a big favor by wisely choosing to put our time and energy into the things that promise long term gain and permanent satisfaction.

1st – Sunday – Mercury Semi-square Neptune – Energy is out of bounds; enthusiasm about everything seems to be the dominant theme.  We get some of the details wrong with many of our adventures today but being correct isn’t always the right answer.

2nd – Monday – Mercury Parallel Venus, Sun Quincunx Saturn – We can benefit from the passing show if we are willing to enter into the parade without any fanfare.  Spend some quiet time to gather inner resources.

3rd – Tuesday – The New Moon is at 2:51 AM EDT, Venus Semi-square Neptune – With all the rush into our new and evolving lives, it is nice to take a moment to reflect on where we have been.  Take a moment to examine recent past accomplishments as well as those learning experiences.  Acknowledge those who have helped along the way.

4th – Wednesday – We gather more information and may feel inspired to abruptly change course.  We need to be careful what we say as others easily misunderstand us.

5th – Thursday – Assess the circumstances carefully today.  There is an opportunity to create harmony and make a new friend.

6h – Friday – This the perfect time to complete our projects of the week, then relax and spend time with our closest  friends and family.

7th – Saturday – Emotional upset points to internal conflict.  We overcome personal limitations by making practical choices and taking the time to understand them.

8th – Sunday – Sun Semi-square Uranus – The urge for freedom overcomes our inertia; even minor changes can be significant and will be quite pleasing when they lead to a greater sense of self.
