Receiving the Love
I have to start off by saying Thank you…Thank you…Thank you! Gratitude from my heart to yours. I am deeply humbled and moved by the level of support, LOVE, and affirmations you have shared with me…. You have helped transform me forever, for the better.
I missed the original airing of The Dr Oz Show on Friday, January 25th. I was working with clients. So I got myself a projector and had a little get-together with some close friends later that night. One friend asked with a cheeky smile and glint in her eye, “Tell me. What else is possible? Can we be more blessed?”
I replied, “All I can say is YES, my ceiling of limitation has blown away and all I can see is the vastness of the sky… And I am bringing it in.”
I had to learn to receive?!
I am a person who, for most of my life, has felt blessed by what life has put in front of me. From the good and the bad, I have grown. Like anyone, I could choose to harp on parental abandonment, broken hearts, lost loves, lost investments, devastation, and betrayal. But to tell the truth, these are not the songs on the playlist of my life. I am a person who, after the recovery, can see the gift of most situations, embracing the growth which comes from it all. The blessings and the rest. I live in deep gratitude for life and how it has manifested around me. I think it is in part My Will but I know, in truth, it’s Divine Will…. I am merely along for the ride.
I say to people all the time, “You are abundant at giving. At receiving – Not so much.”
I won’t lie; I realized in the last month that I had to be more open to receiving. I know this because I totally freaked out… lost my mind… fear was pounding my shoulders like a spoiled child on a piggy-back ride. All because amazing things were happening. I was being invited to go beyond my own boundaries to receive even more.
I had to stop and take a breath (x100) and say Yes to life again.
There is a profound gift in learning to say YES to what is offered to you – a compliment, a present, a smile, a heart, a thank-you. Be open to receive what is given and more importantly to what is already there. Believe me, you may think you know… But you have no idea how LOVED you are in the world of the seen and the unseen.
Choose to get out of the way and suspend your judgement and fear.
Choose to forgive yourself for the times you have said No when your heart was screaming Yes.
For this Valentine’s Day, know that I am sending you an intention of joy and LOVE. May your heart receive more than it perceives. May you also be open to some self-love. As the saying goes, like attracts like; we all can use a nice dose of self-love and self-acceptance. Which in turn only brings it right back to you.
LOVE your way!!
Create a beautiful day!!
Oh and Happy Chinese New Year! The year of the Water Snake promises to continue to create and empower deeper emotional transmutation. Get ready to shed that old skin of limitation.
