From January 1st to the 5th we find ourselves struggling to maintain some sense of equilibrium. The year is off to a rugged start because so many pent up demands surface. People seem to want immediate results and it is just not possible. Do what you can and stay light.
st – Wednesday – The New Moon is at 6:14 AM EST on the 10th degree of Capricorn, Sun Conjunct Pluto – A burning intensity has us on the edge of expectancy. Things happen in the material world but the suspicion and fear coloring everyone’s mental and emotional life is more interesting than anything literally happening in the external environment.
nd – Thursday – Mars Contra-parallel Uranus, Sun Square Mars – We are tempted to change courses. There are choices to be made. Fantastic drive powers every event. Too much excitement can be irritating; find a safe outlet for pent up energy.
rd – Friday – Mercury Opposite Jupiter – Information needs to be evaluated in a slow and thorough manner. It is easy to be carried away by unrealistic enthusiasm or to be subjected to other people’s overly rosy outlook for upcoming events. Take your time to make decisions.
th – Saturday – Mercury Semi-square Neptune, Sun Contra-parallel Jupiter – Translate the desire to do good for others into some concrete action. Service to the larger community can help us break out of a de facto isolation; now is the time for connecting with people outside our normal milieu.
th – Sunday – Sun Opposite Jupiter – Big ideas have a way of coming into manifestation when we take practical steps. Disciplined thought has meaning when we are striving for a cherished ideal.
