Fruit Smoothie

FRUIT SMOOTHIE

1 cup blueberries (I freeze mine & then use them directly from freezer, and then no ice needed in your smoothie)

1/2 a cantaloupe, cut in chunks

1 banana

5-6 leaves of mint

Add 10-12 oz of water, just enough to aid in the blending of the fruit.

Put in your blender, blend until smooth. If the blueberries aren’t frozen, add ice to make a refreshing, chilled smoothie.

A great new summer smoothie that uses the fresh fruit available in summer. It’s super hydrating, sweet & perfect for a post-workout drink (it has potassium from the banana). The cantaloupe is low-glycemic & the blueberries are one of those super anti-oxidant foods we should all be eating more of… please buy organic if you can. Enjoy!
